After we played our gig this past Wednesday night at BOP’s “Play Streets” event in York… Mundok and I hopped in the car and headed up to Harrisburg to catch singer/songwriter Rebecca Marie Miller’s farewell show – with the coming of this Sunday, she will pack her bags and make her way west to Portland, OR to continue her s/sw story.
Held in the very cozy and insanely unique venue of Harrisburg’s MakeSpace, Rebecca’s farewell performance did not disappoint and ONLY left me wishing she was not leaving our area. She is a true talent with a great command for the stage and audience. I was taken in by how much of a consistent PERSONALITY her music possesses.
I look forward to her visits back home as she promises to play shows when she’s once again passing through our area. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU REBECCA and SAFE TRAVELS!
