Good gigs are often found in the most interesting places… Music in the Orchard at the Hans Herr House in Willow Street, PA would fit this description!
Tucked in the rolling farmland hills of southern Lancaster county, Hans Herr House is the site of the oldest settlement in Lancaster – 1719. It’s also the site of a bi-weekly summer music series hosted and run by Wood Stove House. There was a great crowd of approximately 150 appreciative listeners. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to perform as a part of this series – it will be a highlight of my summer shows.
I had the pleasure to get to open up for singer/songwriter Dietrich Strause. Originally from Lancaster, Dietrich now calls the GREAT CITY OF BOSTON his home. What a great songwriter and friendly guy! Fans of Paul Simon and Josh Ritter, HE’S A MUST LISTEN!
